Next up on the love horizon for New Girl‘s Jess: Sleeping Beauty’s sloppy seconds.

Julian Morris, who plays Prince Phillip on Once Upon a Time, will join the Fox comedy for a multi-episode arc in Season 4, TVLine has confirmed.

Morris will play Ryan, the teacher who replaces Jess in the classroom now that she’s vice principal of her school. Ryan is “distractingly handsome” and has a confidence and swagger that irks Jess… until — per EW.com, which first reported the casting — she starts to fall for him.

Morris will debut in an episode airing in October.

I have added captures of Julian Morris from the premiere episode of Hand of God, the Amazon series that he’s a part of. Enjoy!

Amazon has announced that it will debut its third pilot season on August 28 on Amazon Instant Video in the US and the UK. Once again, customers are invited to watch and provide feedback on the shows they want to see turned into full series, so get ready.

Five pilots will be available including half hour comedies “The Cosmopolitans,” “Really” and “Red Oaks

Of note for readers of this blog is “Hand of God,” which Andre Royo and Emayatzy Corinealdi will appear in. The show centers on the powerful Judge Pernell Harris, a hard-living, law-bending married man with a high-end call girl on the side, who suffers a mental breakdown and goes on a vigilante quest to find the rapist who tore his family apart. With no real evidence to go on, Pernell begins to rely on “visions” and “messages” he believes are being sent by God through Pernell’s ventilator-bound son.

It marks the television debut of filmmaker Marc Forster (“Monster’s Ball,” “Finding Neverland,” “World War Z”) and written by Ben Watkins. Royo and Corinealdi will join “Hand of God” stars Ron Perlman in his first lead television role since “Sons of Anarchy”

Andre Royo will play the slick, smart, gregarious, and greedy mayor Robert “Bobo” Boston, and Emayatzy Corinealdi will play Tessie, Judge Pernell’s high-end call girl and confidante.

Dana Delany, Garret Dillahunt, Alona Tal, Julian Morris, Elizabeth McLaughlin also co-star.

Director Marc Forster, writer Ben Watkins, along with star Perlman, as well as Brian Wilkins and Jeff King are Executive Producers, and Jillian Kugler is co-Executive Producer.

“We are delighted to be able to bring Amazon customers new shows from some of Hollywood’s most talented actors and creators,” said Roy Price, Director of Amazon Studios. “There is something for everyone in this season and I can’t wait to hear our customers’ feedback when they premiere later this month.”
